[科學實驗學英語]聞一聞，猜一猜，畫一畫

我很向往一種英語課堂，就是邊帶孩子玩，邊學英語，甚至學習各種知識。
 

最近，看了一個動畫片《科學小子》，其中有一集是講述氣味，然后，里面還有一個小實驗，我覺得這個小實驗完全可以跟孩子玩起來，孩子一定會覺得很有趣。先整理一下內(nèi)容，準備周末帶Jerry玩這個實驗。

我把這個小實驗整理了一下，大家可以邊帶孩子做，邊學習一些句子哦。

我給這個實驗取名為“聞氣味，猜物品”。

我準備讓Jerry猜的4樣東西，跟動畫片中都不太一樣，大家也可以根據(jù)手頭現(xiàn)有的材料來做。

學習目標：
1.物品的名詞

2.簡單的句子

準備材料：

紙杯cup，膠帶tape，醋vinegar，檸檬lemon，桔子orange，洋蔥onion

活動過程：

1. 活動準備：

將物品放入紙杯，杯口用一張紙蓋住，用膠帶綁好，用牙簽在上面戳幾個孔。杯子寫上1-4序號。

2. 活動開始：
 

媽媽可以這樣說：（嫌句子太長，可以挑幾句說）

It’s time to start our scent investigation.

氣味研究開始啦。

Here are 4 cups. Each one has a different food in it. Each food has its own special scent.

這兒有4個杯子，每個杯子里都有一種不同的食物，每種食物都有自己獨特的氣味。

You get to smell them. After you smell what’s in the cup, no looking, just smelling, you can try to figure out what scent you smelt. Then draw a picture of what you think it is.（或者After you smell what’s inside, try to guess what it is. Then draw a picture of what you think it is.）

聞一聞，不能看，只能聞，聞完了之后，想一想聞到了什么氣味，然后把你覺得應該是什么東西畫出來。

3. 小朋友開始聞氣味，畫畫
 

聞完一個杯子，再聞第二個的時候，

媽媽可以說：

Time to smell the second cup.該聞第二個杯子了。

小朋友在參與的過程中可以說：

I can smell ……/I smell something yummy./It's not a good smell.

我聞到了……的味道。/我聞到了好吃的味道。/不太好聞。

4. 最后，揭曉謎底

Have you finished drawing the picture（s）?

畫完畫了嗎？

Now let’s find out what’s inside the first cup.

我們來看看第一個杯子里是什么吧。

如果是檸檬就說：It’s a lemon.

聞完，畫完之后，小朋友的感受，可以參考下面兩段動畫片中小朋友的話。
 

Kid1:  I almost guessed all the smells right. The first one was popcorn. The next one was ……I thought the last was ……，but it was really onions. My nose did a pretty good job.

我差不多所有氣味都猜對了。第一個是爆米花，第二個是……，我以為最后一個是……但其實是洋蔥。我的鼻子表現(xiàn)很棒。

Kid2: I didn’t know what the smell was. At first i thought there was an orange inside. Then i thought it was lemons. That was the tricky one.

我不知道是什么氣味，剛開始我以為里面是桔子，后來我以為是檸檬，這個很難。

媽媽們可以在跟寶寶玩這個實驗的時候，參考上面的句子哦。簡單說幾句也是好的，一個句子重復得多了，寶寶就能記住了，加油！??！
