H i , 小朋友,今天童老師給你講的故事叫 By the stream . 在小溪旁。 W her e are the children? They are on the bridge. What are they doing on the bridge? Dose Kipper look happy? Kipper doesn’t look happy. Why? What happened to him? Let’s read the story together.

What a nice day ! Where was everyone? Yes, they were in the park. What did mum and dad do? Mum and Dad sat on the rug. ”rug” 就是小塊地毯。哇,爸爸媽媽真會享受,在小溪邊,鋪著小地毯,吹著小風,吃著好吃的,喝著好喝的。 ”Cheers!” They were having a picnic by the stream. Floppy was having a picnic too. 在公園里野餐吃什么都行。 W here did the children go?

T he children played by the stream. What were the boys holding? Wilf was holding a stick. Chip was holding a stick too. Was Kipper holding a stick? No , he was holding his T eddy bear. Kipper 最寶貝他的北極熊了,到哪都要帶著。小朋友,你最心愛的玩具是什么呢?你會時時把它帶在身邊嗎? W here was Biff? Biff went on the bridge. Wilma 看著 Biff 說, ”what can you see on the bridge?” 你在橋上能看到什么呀? B iff 招呼大家說 ,” come and take a look!” They all went on the bridge.

W hat did they do? They dropped sticks in the water. Where did Floppy go? Did he go to catch the sti ck? What did he run after? Do you see the rabbit? Yes, Floppy ran after the rabbit. Everyone was having fun. Oh, wait, where was Kipper? Kipper couldn’t see. Kipper 啥也看不見,他的個子太小了,被橋欄桿擋住了,正在著急呢。 ”help me ,help me.”

K ipper climbed up. 他扒著橋欄桿往上爬, Biff 連忙扶住他。 ” Be careful.” On no! He dropped Teddy in the water. Teddy 要是能開口啊,早就直著嗓子喊了, ”help me , help me.” 為什么其他人都跑到橋的另一邊去了呢?他們呀,是想看看剛才丟進去的樹枝有沒有被水沖下來。 C hip 豎起大拇指 , ” I saw the sticks., they flew down stream.” 樹枝往下游流去了。

K ipper 才不在乎什么樹枝呢。 ” Get Teddy,” said Kipper. 救救 Teddy 。他跑下橋,正好看到 Teddy 四仰八叉的躺在水里,好像在練習游泳呢。 B iff help him. B iff 也沒有那么長的手啊 , 但是 Biff 有辦法。她馬上找來一根長木棍,用它來夠 Teddy 。 W ilma helped her. 她牢牢的抓住 Bi ff 的另一只胳膊,不讓她掉到水里去。 D id Biff get Teddy? Biff couldn’t get Teddy.

眼看 Teddy 越漂越遠了, Kipper 更著急了。 ” G et T eddy,” said Kipper. “get” 是取或者拿的意思,在這是救救 T eddy 的意思。 Mum helped him. 媽媽的手比 B i ff 的手要長,說不定她能夠到 Teddy 。 B iff 和 Wilma 一起拉著媽媽,媽媽身子盡量往前傾。每次眼看夠到了, Teddy 又漂遠了。 M um couldn ’ t get Teddy. All the girls were trying to help, what about the boys? 他們怎么 揣著手叉著腰 , 光看熱鬧的樣子啊??磥?,還是姐姐好喔。

K ipper 捂著臉都要崩潰了。 ”I want Teddy,” said Kipper. 終于,爸爸媽媽哥哥姐姐齊上陣。 D ad held stick, mum held dad, Wilma held mum, Biff held Wilma, Wilf held Biff, Chip held Wilf. Wilf 后邊沒人了,怎么辦? Chip 一手抓住 Wilf ,一手往后抓住樹枝。爸爸使勁往前伸,伸得手都要脫臼了。 D id he get Teddy? Dad couldn’t get Teddy. 可憐的 Teddy ,現(xiàn)在吸足了水,開始慢慢下沉了。

爸爸一著急使勁往前一伸。 Dad fell in. 爸爸掉進去了。 S plash ! Mum 、 W i lma 、 B i ff 、 Chip 、 Wilf ,他們接二連三牽五掛四的, they all fell down. Chip 干脆把小樹連根拔起來了,連 Kipper 都嚇得坐在了地上。

B ut finally, Dad got Teddy. Hooray! 大家開心的笑起來。 W hat did Dad say ? “ I am a frogman,” said Dad. Why did he say that? Look what’s on Dad’ hat? A frog. 她想說啊,真正的 frogman ,那都是特種部隊受過特殊訓練的專業(yè)潛水員,你以為頭上頂個青蛙,就能做 frogman ——蛙人了。 K ipper 呢,可不管這些,他高興的直鼓掌, ” Thank you dad. 你比真正的蛙人還厲害! Y ou are my hero! ”
