On Low Island Chessy was happy at last, especially when he found a rare shell to add to his collection. But one more unsettling move was in store - to Sandy Cape, and the Booby Bird, a practical joker Chessy disliked... until he inadvertently saved his shell in a cyclone!
The setting to this story of life on the remote lighthouse stations is one which Nan Chauncy knows well, having recently returned from a trip off the Queensland coast.
