現(xiàn)在故事的結(jié)構(gòu)是這樣的：前十章都是在講乞丐變成“王子”的故事。從第十一章開始，關(guān)于王子和乞丐的故事是交替著講的，但是還是更注重乞丐的細(xì)節(jié)。王子在外面說自己是王子，結(jié)果被人排擠。乞丐變成王子后沒有適應(yīng)，結(jié)果一直被王宮里面的人懷疑他是不是患了什么疾病。
