讀書札記:Mercy Waston to the Rescue
今天讀了5個(gè)Chapter,讀完娃主動(dòng)要我問(wèn)她幾個(gè)問(wèn)題,還要求問(wèn)些能用Yes或No回答的判斷題,個(gè)么我就問(wèn)了幾個(gè):
1. Whom does Mercy live with?
2. Mercy hopped off her own bed. Where did she go?
3. What was Mercy‘s dream about? What did Mr. Watson dream about? What did Mrs. Watson dream about?
4. When they were sleeping together and busy dreaming,what happened?
5. After the bed fell into a hole,Mercy hopped off the bed again. She went to call the fire department. Yes or no?
6. Where did Mercy go after the bed fell into a hole?
7. Baby Lincoln is the older sister. Yes or no?
8. Mercy came to Eugenia Lincoln for help. Yes or no?
9. Whom did Mercy come to for help?
(這是一道挖坑題,我自己出題的時(shí)候想的答案是Baby L,但是娃答“no one”,我這才意識(shí)到我錯(cuò)了)
以上問(wèn)題娃都答得挺好,甚至有幾道答得很驚艷。可見(jiàn)今天的閱讀還是很有質(zhì)量的。問(wèn)題都是我臨時(shí)想的,不敢太難,太難娃答不出會(huì)打擊她的自信心。
下一次讀的話,還可以問(wèn)一些更細(xì)節(jié)更難的問(wèn)題。除了客觀情節(jié),還可以問(wèn)一些主觀題,比如:
Do you like Mercy? Why?
Will you choose a pig as your pet?
How would you take care of your pet?
Whom do you like better, Baby Lincoln or Eugenia Lincoln? Why?
除了閱讀完之后進(jìn)行提問(wèn)來(lái)測(cè)試情節(jié)讀懂與否,閱讀的時(shí)候還給娃講了幾個(gè)知識(shí)點(diǎn):
1. Mr. Mrs. Ms. &Miss的區(qū)別
2. gallop這個(gè)動(dòng)詞可以用在哪些動(dòng)物身上,然后娃自己推出了哪些動(dòng)物可以用哪些動(dòng)詞(animals with hoofs-gallop,rabbit-hop,cat-walk,koala-climb)
3. 何時(shí)可以求救于消防隊(duì)(fire department)Mercy Watson to the Rescue
