This is a great story about a girl who has won the respect of her classmate despite her special appearence, I used this book to teach my 8 year old girl to be as strong as she is and respond to the older kid in school bus who bullied her the same way as Molly Lou Melon did, not be cracked down with teasing but prove to others you are actually good, much better than others.
