spot我覺得有這樣一個含義：你不僅看見了ta，還把ta的位置給確定了。就像眾里尋他千百度，驀然回首，那人卻在燈火闌珊處。I spotted her in the crowd.

see僅表達(dá)看見了，

I see him. 我見著他了。

I saw him. 我見到過他。

What do you see？你看見什么了？

首先spot的意思也是看到，看見，但spot更傾向于認(rèn)出來，發(fā)現(xiàn)，特別是強(qiáng)調(diào)從一堆相類似或同類之中認(rèn)出某人貨某物。例如I spotted her in thecrowd。在人群中我認(rèn)出（看到她了）。而see不需要可以認(rèn)出或發(fā)現(xiàn)，既表示看到的過程也表示看到的結(jié)果。
