終于看完了從11月就開始看的17萬字的《story of mankind – 房龍歷史》,16萬字的《sophie’s world》學(xué)校英文作業(yè)要看《奇跡男孩》《maniac magee》《when you reach me》,還要寫讀后感等,所以重新閱讀。
小妞喜歡Plato的理論,她說,“anybody could be a philosopher, no matter beggars or noblemen. The beggars are as capable as everyone else. The point is that thinking is not connected with people’s status in the world. Plato thought that everyone is equal. He thought that women are as capable as men. Meanwhile, Aristotle thought that women are a piece of unfinished work. He thought that women doesn’t have this ability of thinking. He thought that they are weak. His idea is not correct of course. However, it is his thought that had an impact on the generations later on. This idea STUCK.”
