感恩節(jié)不止有火雞-3歲小朋友的感恩節(jié)小課堂

因?yàn)閻坶喿x愛語(yǔ)言，外加原版繪本超級(jí)剁手癖，我們?cè)诩肄k了一個(gè)娃娃讀書會(huì)。

正值感恩節(jié)，舉辦了第一次線下英文繪本主題活動(dòng)哦！

關(guān)于感恩節(jié)的繪本有很多，但是如果對(duì)感恩節(jié)不了解，對(duì)繪本中的情節(jié)或者場(chǎng)景可能就不會(huì)有太多的感受。

所以，在這次的感恩節(jié)主題活動(dòng)，還是決定以感恩節(jié)的來(lái)歷為主題，讓小朋友們真正認(rèn)識(shí)感恩節(jié)。

關(guān)于The First Thanksgiving的介紹，個(gè)人認(rèn)為最好的繪本還要屬“The Thanksgiving Story"。

但對(duì)于3-4歲的小寶寶們，還是太復(fù)雜了。所以參考了簡(jiǎn)化的情節(jié)內(nèi)容，配合自己制作的PPT和小動(dòng)畫，強(qiáng)化一些有趣的知識(shí)點(diǎn)，就是一個(gè)超級(jí)贊繪本主題課啦。

The Pilgrims wanted the freedom to worship as they pleased.

What's the color of their clothes? What's on the man's hat? A shoe buckle?

他們的衣服什么顏色?。棵弊由鲜鞘裁窗?？一個(gè)鞋扣嗎？

They left England and sailed across the Atlantic Ocean in a ship called the Mayflower.

Wow, the ship also got its own name! 船也有名字??！

What's the name of the ship? Which kind of the ship is it? 

他們坐的船叫什么名字啊？這個(gè)船是什么類型的船??？

the upper deck, 'tween deck, the lower deck...

The difficult journey in the small ship lasted over 2 months.

The Pilgrims finally reached America and named their new community Plymouth.

登陸地點(diǎn)的礁石被命名為Plymouth Rock。

People even built a house for this big rock. 嘻嘻。

The Pilgrims’ first winter was very cold and half of the Pilgrims died.

In the spring, a Native American Indian named Samoset greeted the Pilgrims in English.

What do the Indians look like?

What are in thier hair?

Where are they living?

The Pilgrims fed Samoset and let him stay overnight in one of their houses.

Samoset then introduced the Pilgrims to Squanto.

Squanto helped the Pilgrims make a peace treaty with the Wampanoag Indians.

Squanto taught the Pilgrims how to plant corn, hunt, and lived with them for the rest of his life.

In the fall, the Pilgrims had a feast to thank God for their great harvest, and they invited their Indian friends.

Americans celebrate Thanksgiving every year on the last Thursday in November.

了解了Thanksgiving的故事，一起來(lái)做個(gè)Mayflower ship吧。

做船帆的時(shí)候，因?yàn)槭艿脚赃呅】铸埻婢叩挠绊?，紛紛做起了恐龍帆，好可愛，有沒有？！

特別品嘗定制的Pumpkin Pie, 感恩節(jié)必備經(jīng)典食物。

吃南瓜派的時(shí)候，順便看一個(gè)關(guān)于感恩節(jié)的小動(dòng)畫片，是Plymouth Rock講述的Thanksgiving Day的故事，簡(jiǎn)短易懂又可愛。
 

最后，放松一下，一起來(lái)唱首10 Little Indians吧. 

在這樣一個(gè)愉快的上午，我們與孩子一起，從視覺、聽覺、觸覺、味覺上體驗(yàn)了感恩節(jié)!
