When they wanted to go out, they didn't have to ask. It seems easy today but almost impssible to achieve at the Great Depression at which time the story took place. Though a sad story at the end, it's also a touching story.

雖然二人處處小心，災(zāi)難仍然降臨。George不希望lennie慘遭私刑，他親手捏碎了自己和lennie的夢想，為二人保留了最后的尊嚴(yán)。不過為什么不再度逃跑呢。
