Missy是這個書單里最好讀的一套，典型的美國校園生活題材。Missy是個真性情的活潑小女孩，想法多，話多，精力充沛，這個角色很討人喜愛。這套書里還有個重要角色，就是Missy的同學Oscar，一個話很少，隨時在看書，在思考的男孩，這兩個個性截然相反的角色經常碰撞出火花，組成的畫面很有意思。每本書后面同樣有幾個幫助理解和引發(fā)思考的問題。
這本講的是Missy為領養(yǎng)學校寵物興奮地做足了各種準備，沒想到卻遇到強悍的對手跟她爭搶，她想盡辦法想讓對手放棄都沒有成功~

文字則是對話或小姑娘的內心活動，兩種形式的字體也不一樣。單詞不多，畫面有趣，姑娘很喜歡看。
