This book is a story about a girl in WWII with her stepmother. Their home had been bombed. They lived in many difficult situations, like they lived in a bombed church, they must go to black market to buy things to eat, a couple of family members were forced to go to the army and died in the war, so sad, they went to London, but they couldn't speak English, a person on the way help them. They finally found safe place to live at the end of the war. (展開) |
