上一集說(shuō)到，查理接管了旺卡先生的巧克力工廠，他們乘大玻璃升降機(jī)回到家，準(zhǔn)備將爸爸媽媽和外公外婆爺爺奶奶接到工廠來(lái)。在升降機(jī)飛回工廠的途中，升降機(jī)越飛越高，竟然進(jìn)人了太空軌道！
