Ga'hoole had finally become home for the band of brave, young owls: Soren, Gylfie, Twilight and Digger. As the second book of the series "The Guardians of Ga'hoole", it tells the adventurous journey of the owls to Ga'hoole, where each night heroic owls do noble deeds. They had been sort out to different chaws based on their talents. They've met all kind of friends, improved their skills, learned new things, but Soren still missed his family deeply, will he ever be reunited with his family?

I loved this book as much as I loved the first one. I think I'll never get bored of the characters, although I do have favorites and least favorites. I can't wait to check out the third book, it shall be a whole new adventure!

Horrible Histories:The Gorgeous Georgians
Terry Deary 著 / Scholastic
Everytime I think of the name “gorgeous georgians”, especially with the British accent, I kind of want to laugh. Although if I was in the Gorgeous Georgians’ time, I would probably not find it any bit funny. Because I might be hung up and d...

Horrible Histories:The Vile Victorians
Terry Deary 著 / Scholastic
The first thought I've had in my head after I read this book was that life as a Victorian was dreadful. It's like before you live a life (or at least a good life), you die. You will survive if you are born in a not-that-poor family, no one ...

Cress (The Lunar Chronicles)

When it comes to the middle book, or in this case the third book, of a series, it gets way more complex. The author Marissa Meyer purposefully separated some characters from others to make a conflict. And that's what makes the story fun, wh...
