《Ruby's Wish》 一本全然中國特色的英文圖畫書。這本書的作者是一位華裔，它曾獲得很多美國圖書獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，如《時(shí)代周刊》2008年最佳書選。
書的封皮是喜慶的中國紅，書里的圖畫也充滿了舊時(shí)中國的生活氣息。故事的主人公Ruby是舊時(shí)中國的大家閨秀，但是她并不像其他女孩子一樣學(xué)女紅等嫁人，而是像男孩子一樣用讀書去抗?fàn)幾约旱拿\(yùn)，能傳承文化，也能突破舊的傳統(tǒng)。
