Today let’s read “The Dream”.
今天我們來讀《做夢》。

What can you see on the cover?

在封面上你都看到了什么呢？

Biff was sleeping with her toy bear.

Biff正在和她的玩具小熊一起睡覺。

She had a dream.

她做夢了。

What did she dream about?

她夢到了什么？

She dreamed about a horrible dragon.

她夢見了一只可怕的龍。

It was late in the night.

天很晚了。

Biff couldn’t sleep.

Biff睡不著覺。

She went downstairs.

她走下了樓。

What was Dad doing?

爸爸在做什么？

He was reading newspaper in the living room.

爸爸正在客廳里看報紙。

“I can’t sleep,” said Biff.

Biff說：“我睡不著?！?/span>

Dad told her a story.

爸爸給Biff講了個故事。

The story was about a dragon.

故事是有關(guān)一只龍的。

Do you think Biff liked the story?

你覺得Biff喜歡這個故事嗎？

How can you tell?

你是怎么看出來的呢？

After the story, Biff went back to sleep.

聽完故事，Biff回到床上睡覺了。

Mum shut the door for her.

媽媽為她關(guān)上了門。

Biff dreamed about the dragon.

Biff夢見了那只龍。

It was a green dragon with talons and fangs.

那是一只有著利爪和尖牙的綠色的龍。

It drooled and stuck its long tongue out.

龍流著口水，伸出了長長的舌頭。

It was too horrible!

太可怕了！

Biff sat in the corner and said ‘NO’!

Biff坐在沙發(fā)角落里，說不要過來！

It was a nasty dragon.

這是只很可怕的龍。

The dragon breathed fire to Biff.

龍朝著Biff噴火。

Was Biff frightened by the dragon?

Biff被這只龍嚇到了嗎？

Biff put a metal bucket on her head.

Biff在頭上頂了鐵桶。

She held a shield to protected herself from the fire.

她拿了一個盾保護(hù)自己不受火燒。

She also held a sword.

她的右手拿著一把劍。

It was a very nasty dragon.

這是一只非常可怕的龍。

It even breathed a bigger fire.

它甚至噴出了更大的火。

The shield melted.

盾融化了。

Biff was really brave.

Biff非常勇敢。

But she was a little bit frightened.

但是她也有些害怕。

What do you think will happen next?

你認(rèn)為接下來會發(fā)生什么呢？

Biff had to fight it.

Biff不得不戰(zhàn)斗。

Biff waved her sword to the dragon.

Biff揮劍砍向龍。

Unfortunately, the sword broke down.

很不幸，劍斷了。

Her hat also fell down.

她的帽子也掉了。

Biff woke up.

Biff醒了。

Biff went downstairs.

她走下樓。

She ran quickly as if the dragon was chasing her.

她跑得很快仿佛龍在身后追她。

Biff told her parents the dream about the nasty dragon.

Biff告訴了父母那個有關(guān)可怕的龍的故事。

Mom told her a story.

媽媽給他講了一個故事。

The story was about a dolphin.

這是一個關(guān)于海豚的故事。

Do you think Biff liked the story?

你認(rèn)為Biff喜歡這個故事嗎？

How can you tell?

你是怎么分辨出來的呢？

I think Biff liked the story, because she was smiling.

我覺得Biff喜歡這個故事，因為她在笑。

Biff went back to bed again.

Biff再次回到了床上睡覺。

Biff dreamed about a dolphin.

Biff夢見了海豚。

In the dream, Biff rode the dolphin happily.

在夢中，她快樂地騎著海豚。

She liked the dream much better than the former one!

比起前一個夢，她更喜歡這個！

1.Can you often remember your dreams?

你能經(jīng)常記住自己做的夢嗎？

2.Can you draw a picture of a dream you’ve ever had?

你可以給自己曾經(jīng)做過的夢畫一張圖嗎？

3.Do you like dragons? What do they look like in your imagination?

你喜歡龍嗎？在你的想象中它是什么樣子的？

拓展練習(xí)

（難度略大，適合4歲以上寶寶～）

這個故事里Biff的爸爸，怎么感覺有點(diǎn)熟悉，是不是很多媽媽身邊的“豬隊友”呢？反正，爸爸哄睡越哄越精神，這樣的場景在我們家是天天上演。

特別提醒

1. 每個寶寶的年齡不一樣，基礎(chǔ)不一樣，不需要完全按照以上文本來講。如果孩子感興趣，就多說一點(diǎn)，不感興趣就少說一點(diǎn)，都沒問題。

2. 只要孩子理解，或看圖能明白，或家長可以用肢體語言或者指物的方式讓孩子明白，就不要翻譯。

3. 如果實(shí)在不能理解，可以適當(dāng)解釋，但不需要字對字翻譯。
